Alexis Baro's new release "Mi Raiz" has taken the world music scene by storm. The album is Alexis Baro's tribute to Cuban Trumpet playing and the many great musicians and composers from his homeland that have blessed the world over many decades with a distinct and unique sound from this instrument. Guest performers include Hilario Duran, Jesús Alemany, and many more great artists.

Neil Brathwaite Group's debut recording "Bee Thankful" is a soulful jazz offering by this quartet that's been together for over ten years as a staple of the Queen Street music scene in Toronto. The album offers the listener a wide range of emotions from high energy funky jazz to mellow chill music that are for those quiet moments.
The chemistry between these musicians is definitely worth taking a listen to as they speak as a collective voice true to each of Braithwaite's compositions.
Guest appearances include trumpeter Alexis Baro, Ted Peters on trombone, Michael Occhipinti on guitar, Mark Hundevad on vibraphones, Mark Mosca on Steel Pan and Jorge "Papiosco" Torres on percussion.

Chris is a multi-instrumentalist legendary musician on the blues scene who started out 50 years ago and has worked with many of the greats along the way; Blind John Davis, Leon Redbone, Chuck Berry, to name a few..
